This study aimed to gauge the tolerability of topical CBD specifically among elite athletes—individuals uniquely positioned to recognize bodily changes due to their intensive training and reliance on physical well-being.
The study’s focus was narrowed to athletes in sports like US/American football, track and field, and basketball, due to the commonality of similar body movements and the high risk of injuries to the lower body in these sports.
